Tehran Int’l FICTS fest to host 503 films from 48 countries

503 films from 48 countries have requested to attend the 12th edition of Tehran International FICTS Festival.

So far, Iran, Turkey, India, Italy, France, Germany, Russia and the United States have registered the largest number of titles at the festival.

Iran’s sport film festival is the exclusive representative of the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS). FICTS has more than 116 members and its headquarter is based in Milan, Italy.

Iran’s Sport Film Festival, which hosts 28 Asian countries, is one of the sixteen international bases for entering Milan’s International Film Festival. Considering its importance, many European countries are eager to attend the festival.

The 12th edition of Tehran International FICTS Festival will be held in collaboration with the National Olympic and Paralympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting), Qeshm Free Zone and IRIB Sports Channel in the summer, 2019.
